Thus far, there have been eight expansions in the Sim 4 verse. You've been able to do anything, like get a taste of campus life or an island paradise for your Sims.

May 19 saw the announcement of the latest expansion, Eco Lifestyle, in a wacky and wild trailer. Take your Sims to the town of Evergreen Harbor, a place that's a real dump. It needs that Sims touch. Your job is to give Evergreen Harbor a new, sustainable life as a fixture in the eco-friendly world!

Civil Designer

As a civil designer, you've got to have an eye for... well, design! Evergreen Harbor is a wreck when you arrive. Life as a civil designer will have you cleaning the place up in no time!

Design a better way of life for Evergreen Harbor.

Plan and convert the town to sustainable energy while also beautifying the area. There are tons of "Eco Inventions" you'll be able to create, paving the way for a better life. Your Sims neighbors will surely thank you! (They also might make some pretty hefty requests of you, but you know how that goes.)

Freelance Crafter

Perhaps you think of yourself as more artistic. Fear not, for Eco Lifestyle has a new career for the creative souls, as well! The freelance crafter will help your Sim bring culture to Evergreen Harbor.

Bring joy to your neighbors with ventures like fresh-squeezed juice or artisan candles. In-game, Makerspace is a great place for discovering upcycled materials. It'll also get your Sims acquainted with the eco-friendly community in Evergreen Harbor. You'll gather resources from here as well.

Then? Fill orders with your product to your Sims' valued customers! Meanwhile, your goods also make your Sims a tidy profit. Wow the town and the community alike while keeping your characters happy with this great career choice for bringing out your creative side. There's even a community feature for you to share your creations with other players!

Eco-Friendly and Eco-Wild

The rest of the expansion features plenty of other new mechanics. The addition of new items like outdoor topiary will be beneficial if you take the Civic Designer career. Toss in plenty of classic wacky Sims items, and you've got a mixture for success!
