Upcoming Video Game Releases to Wrap Up Summer 2020

With the impending launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X in a few short months, the next-gen consoles have taken the spotlight on gaming newsfeeds. However, there are many new and noteworthy titles coming out in the final weeks of Summer 2020. From one of the most anticipated games of the year, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, to games like Madden NFL 21, A Total War Saga: Troy, and so much more.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout [PC, PS4] – August 4

Get the party started with this multi-player party game that can accommodate up to an astonishing 60 players. You will jump into the colorful chaos where physics is more of a suggestion than a rule as your customized, cartoon character until someone is left standing the victor.

Hellbound [PC] – August 4

In this platform game, you play Skully. Skully is a skull was who brought back to life after washing up on an island in order to stop a war between three powerful siblings. You will move through the visually stunning levels until you finally gain back control over your island.

Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 [PC, PS4, XBO] – August 5

the Call of Duty franchise is back with its newest installment of its popular first-person shooter. This release is rumored to have an impressively large map and some interest weapons. New weapons include the SPAS-12 and a new sniper rifle. There is also the large possibility of a train in this game that can help you get around the huge map.

Drink More Glurp [PC, Switch] – August 6

Aliens are trying to mimic the summer games here on earth, but they don't get everything quite right. Nonetheless, it's time to compete! This multi-player party game allows up to 20 people to play to win. If you have no friends, you can play by yourself to score on the leaderboards.

Horizon Zero Dawn - Complete Edition [PC] – August 7

In this action-packed role-playing game, you play a female hero named Alloy. Alloy lives in the future where machines rule everything. However, this isn't necessarily a good thing. Fight foes in this beautiful open world until you have finally mastered how to survive in the future.

Fast & Furious Crossroads [PC, PS4, XBO] – August 7

If you are a fan of the Fast & Furious franchise, this racing game is for you! You will have to help take down an organized crime syndicate while enjoying some sweet cars. You'll enjoy the standard gameplay by yourself. You can also play a multiplayer version of the game to fight crime with your friends in your own little crew.

Inertial Drift [PC, PS4, XBO, Switch] – August 7

This racing and drifting game is set in a cool-looking retro world actually set in the future. Race against friends or in-game characters, and get ready to drift around those turns if you don't want to crash. You'll get to pick from 16 different cars that are different than any of the cars you'll see in any other games.

Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? - Infinite Combate [PC, PS4, Switch] (EU) – August 7, (US) – August 11

This game based on a Japanese show by the same name is an exciting RPG that immerses you into the universe of the series. You'll get the option to play as one of two characters who both have different things to offer as you conquer dungeons and ultimately take over the universe.

Popup Dungeon [PC] – August 12

Popup Dungeon is a highly anticipated RPG that is designed with the goal to allow you to be as creative as possible. You'll create characters and weapons. You can even create a different game mode exactly how you want them.

A Total War Saga: Troy [PC] – August 13

A Total War Saga: Troy attempts to take you back in time to the Bronze Age in ancient Greece to experience the Trojan War in as realistic a way as possible. You'll try to protect Troy or take the city down as one of eight characters. You may even learn something about the most likely causes of the war, and experience realistic weapons and battle scenes.

Kill It With Fire [PC] – August 13

Nobody likes spiders, and this first-person action game allows you to take your vengeance on your eight-legged enemy. When you see a spider, it's your job to kill it. There is a lot of fun and creative ways to kill the spiders, including throwing things at them, shooting them, and burning them with a flame thrower.

UFC 4 [PS4, XBO] – August 14

EA games allow you to play as the newest UFC fighter. You'll fight through a variety of characters or play against your friends in the new blitz tournaments. You also have numerous immersive worlds to play in, including a backyard. With improved gameplay, you'll be able to destroy your enemy like never before.

Eastern Exorcist [PC] – August 14

In this 2D side-scrolling RPG, you play an exorcist who must go through this world filled with demons. This indie game puts you in a cool, eastern world. You'll also have plenty of fun gameplay as you beat level after level.

Microsoft Flight Simulator [PC] – August 18

This flight simulator puts you in the cockpit of a variety of different types of planes. This realistic game allows you to fly just about anywhere in the entire world. Bing Maps helped create the hyper-realistic world, and you may even learn a thing or two about flying a plane.

Griefhelm [PC] – August 20

Griefhelm allows you to duel with the computer or your friends in a medieval world. You'll get a number of options when it comes to weapons, but it's not necessarily the weapon that determines who will be the winner. You need to be faster and smarter than your opponent to succeed.

Pastel: Blind Karma [PC] – August 20

In this puzzle game, you play a nine-tailed fox who wakes up with no idea who she is or where she is. Play through different puzzles to learn more about who you are and what happened to make you lose your memory. You know that if you don't get through the puzzles soon, something bad will happen.

Remnant: From the Ashes: Subject 2923 DLC & Complete Edition [PC, PS4, XBO] – August 20

The world has been taken over by creatures, and it's an eat or be eaten type of universe. This new game in the franchise offers an array of new weapons and armor. You'll also be able to travel from Earth to another faraway planet.

Aokana - Four Rhythms Across the Blue [PS4, Switch] – August 21

In this action game, you play in a world where everyone can take to the sky with the help of special shoes. Since flying is so easy, there is a new craze called the Night Circus. You play a former legend who must teach a new student how to fly.

PGA Tour 2K21 [PC, PS4, XBO, Switch, Stadia] – August 21

Join the PGA tour to compete as some of your favorite golfers on the course today. You can also create your own characters and even your own dream course. You can also choose whether you want to play against the computer or your friends. You can even change the rules if that's what you want to do.

Madden NFL 21 [PS4, XBO] – August 25

The Madden franchise returns with another football game. Play as your favorite players at your favorite stadiums. With improved gameplay, the NFL is your new playground.

Descenders [PS4] – August 25

Hit the trail with this intense action game that allows you to be a mountain biker on some of the craziest routes you'll ever see.
